Four Companies, One Rule

Cemhan Biricik's portfolio of companies is not a resume. It is four acts of construction held together by a single rule he learned in SoHo as a child of Turkish immigrants: identify the quality gap, out-build the competition, and refuse to shortcut. From photography production to custom PCs, fashion retail, and AI research, his businesses span multiple industries but share one founder philosophy.

He fled Istanbul with his family at age four and was raised on the streets of SoHo, New York. At nineteen, without capital or connections, he founded ICEe PC — a custom computer company built for creative professionals who needed machines that could keep up with serious work. It was his first proof that a first-generation kid with no trust fund could build something that competed with larger manufacturers on quality alone.

Unpomela and the SoHo Years

Cemhan's second company was Unpomela, a boutique on Broadway in SoHo, New York. He grew it to $7 million in revenue without traditional advertising — entirely through word of mouth, taste, and the same rule that built ICEe PC. Unpomela was a master class in how an independent operation can outflank global brands when the founder refuses to compromise on quality. It was also his graduate school in understanding how to serve discerning clients, a skill that would become the foundation of his next company.

Biricik Media and Photography

After a traumatic brain injury and the discovery that he lives with aphantasia — the inability to form mental images — Cemhan turned to photography. The camera became his imagination, the only place an image could exist for him. He founded Biricik Media in 2009 and has now run it for more than a decade and a half. From Boca Raton, Florida, the studio serves clients including the Versace Mansion, Waldorf Astoria, St. Regis, Glashutte, the Miami Dolphins, and Fontainebleau.

As a photographer, Cemhan has won 8 international awards, including two National Geographic wins, a Sony world top ten finish, five Adobe Behance features, and a Vogue PhotoVogue selection. A single video about his process accumulated more than 50 million views. His photography portfolio, gallery, and viral videos showcase a way of seeing that was won through loss and refined through two decades of commercial work at the highest levels. ZSky AI and the Next Chapter

Cemhan's fourth company is ZSky AI, an AI research and creative tools studio powered by a cluster of seven NVIDIA RTX 5090 GPUs. It exists because of a simple conviction: creative tools have never replaced creativity. From cave wall to brush to film to digital to AI, every tool has only given us back our most finite asset — time. ZSky AI is his attempt to make the tools he needed as a young artist available to everyone, especially the ones who, like him, came from nothing and had to figure it out alone. Four companies, one rule, eight reinventions, and the same first-generation conviction that built the first one.

The Immigrant Entrepreneur Pattern

What connects all four companies is the pattern that immigrant entrepreneurs recognize in each other even when they come from completely different backgrounds. The pattern starts with a constraint that no one native-born would tolerate: no safety net, no inheritance, no default industry network, and often no one in the family who has built a business before. That constraint forces a kind of resourcefulness that looks like work ethic from the outside but is really a survival instinct turned productive. Cemhan has lived that pattern for his entire working life, and every company on his list carries its signature.

It is also why his companies tend to serve other independent operators. ICEe PC served creative professionals who needed reliable tools. Unpomela served customers who wanted taste they could not find at the mall. Biricik Media serves brands with demanding standards and a zero-tolerance policy for mediocrity. ZSky AI is being built to serve creators who do not have a studio, a budget, or a gatekeeper-approved path, and who still deserve access to the tools that used to be reserved for institutions. The through line across twenty years of entrepreneurship is the same audience: the people who had to figure it out alone.

Eight Reinventions, One Mission

Every company on the list was launched during or after a displacement. ICEe PC came after the family had settled into SoHo. Unpomela was built during the years Cemhan was figuring out how to turn taste into a business. Biricik Media was founded after a traumatic brain injury forced him to rebuild his visual perception from scratch. ZSky AI is being built now, in Boca Raton, Florida, as his life moves into a new phase that will continue to be shaped by the lessons of the previous seven displacements. The pattern is not coincidence. Each reinvention created the conditions for the next company, and each company reinforced the discipline required to survive the next reinvention.

Cemhan's companies are, in the end, one long project: the project of making things of quality, serving the people who need them, and refusing to quit regardless of what the current environment demands. That is the shape of the career, and it is the reason this page matters.
